This in-person training course helps theatre and venue staff understand how to recognise and respond to potential terrorist threats. Designed to complement the ACT Awareness eLearning from ProtectUK, it focuses on realistic, scenario-based learning in a theatre or live event setting.
Staff will take part in tabletop exercises, role play, and guided discussions, exploring how to respond confidently and effectively in high-pressure situations. The course is split into two modules (around 2 hours each):
Module 1: Suspicious packages, bomb threats, and search procedures
Module 2: Invacuation, evacuation, Run Hide Tell, and marauding terrorist attacks
The course can be adapted to reflect your venue’s specific policies, procedures, and layout. A bespoke version is available for organisations that want training fully aligned with their internal protocols.
