When we visit your site for an Annual Security Audit, we’re looking at the real-world picture – how your security measures work in practice, day to day.

Here’s what’s included:

• On-site visit and staff engagement
  We spend time with your team, listening to how they work and how they feel about security.

  We dig into your security and response plans, seeing how they’d stand up in a real emergency – not just on paper.
  
• Penetration testing
  We can do a basic test to see how easy it is to get around your current procedures, giving you an honest view of what might need tightening up.
  
• Training records and staff confidence
  We check your training records and talk to staff to see if they know what to do, especially in a mass casualty situation – because that confidence matters.
  
• Lockdown and invacuation plans
  We look at how these plans would play out in real life – and can even test them with you to see how effective they really are.
  
• Updates on legislation and best practice
  We’ll make sure you’re up to date with any new guidance or laws, including Martyn’s Law (the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025), so you’re always on the right side of compliance.
• Link to the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA)
  Because we’re led by a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), a trusted partner for the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA). This way we can be a conduit to get the latest security information and updates out to venues like yours – so you’re never left behind on what really matters.

• Tailored to your venue and tier
  We’ll tailor our audit to your size and the specific legal requirements for your tier:
  Standard Tier (200–799 guests) – Proportionate measures and staff awareness
  Enhanced Tier (800+ guests) – More detailed checks for complex sites

Q: Will you look at physical security every year?
A: If you’ve already upgraded physical measures like glazing or barriers, we won’t re-check them every year. Instead, we focus on how your people and plans are working – the parts that can change over time.

Q: How long does a Security Audit take?
A: It depends on your venue’s size and complexity, but most audits take a day on site, plus time to pull together a clear, tailored report and various calls before and after the audit using teams.  

Q: Can you help us fix any gaps?
A: Absolutely. Our audit report doesn’t just highlight problems – it gives you practical, proportionate steps to close any gaps and keep improving.
